so, clearly we can't get enough of this girl smiling. it looks like she never wears clothes, but it just so happens she tends to be quite happy when she is being changed. i think it's because she has our undivided attention on the changing table. what i love about this photo is how she looks like she is just cracking up. if she could laugh when she was awake (currently she is only doing it in her sleep) she would be.
this is for dalia's daddy who's on the road this week and needs a visual of what his happy family is up to in his absence.
Dalia has decided she likes to read. This provides Mom and Dad with lots of joy. You can see her smile in the video. It's really quite amazing, this smiling thing, after so many weeks of just staring and crying. She is eight weeks old this week, by the way. Goodness, how time flies.
Dad and Mom took Dalia to the Widwood trail, our favorite hiking/walking/running trail. It was COLD, so we didn't stay out too long but we had to document how cute she looked. Thanks for the great shoes Jonica.
Oralea came all the way from SF so we had a girl's lunch with her and Julie.
After one busy day.
She loves to visit Archer and his mama.
Dalia visited a lot of friends over the past week. Here are some photos from her adventures. She and Neva smiled at each other, tho it's not documented. Here they are just chillin'.
We finally got out to a restaurant together, which meant Dalia got to dress up.
It's so nice when no one is fussy
On this rare occasion, Dalia continued to sleep after Mom and Dad woke up.
Dalia caught her first cold. This was a particularly bad day, but we found her thoughtfully looking out the window during a quiet moment. (this was all staged of course)
