Pumpkins

I don't remember ever going to a pumpkin patch as a kid, so I'll chalk it up to one more cool thing there is to do in Oregon as a kid. Go to a farm, listen to live music while searching for the perfect pumpkin to take a picture with, get some kettle corn or some other treat, ride a "train" made of buckets and a tractor on an otherwise perfect October day. It was even more fun to do it this year now that Dalia is bigger and Eloise is with us. Family outings are indeed getting more fun.

I remember going to a pumpkin patch as a kid. But it was really just a bunch of pumpkins in an empty lot like Xmas trees and there certainly weren't trains! How fun.
