Dalia has recently discovered the joy of drawing with pens. She has clocked in at least a couple of hours at her easel white board in the past two days. Yesterday we started playing around with making "faces". I would draw the circle, she would make the eyes (you've all seen the Calliou portrait), I would make the nose and then she would try a mouth. By the end of the evening tonight she was working on making complex eyes, not just dots. This was the coolest. I had to take a photo of it. She calls it her "big kid" drawing. She took the top photo herself, by the way.
