our valentine

So, Dalia got to eat her piece of chocolate (one of those Lindt milk chocolate balls) at 8:30 this morning. I think she loves Valentine's Day now. She did, for the record, relish giving her daddy his cards and chocolate. We picked out cards on Friday and when he finished work that day, she told him she got him a card, but we didn't give it to him until today. It was great. After chocolate and before naps we got to deliver our valentine to Pops who lives so close now, it's just about as awesome as it gets. Then, Gigi came over during Dalia's nap while Mark and I went to lunch and when we came home, Dalia said she wanted to go with Gigi on her errands, so Mark got a nap and I got some yoga-time. Since then, we've been playing hide and seek, eating, having tickling wrestling matches and generally doing those things we usually do to end the day. Dalia is going to get a special treat after her bath and get to watch some of the Olympics. Gigi told her about the ice skating, so we're going to let her watch some t.v. before bed. The horror! :)

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. Robin, your cards still get the most attention. We've spent much of the day searching for her other cards ("itsy bitsy spider and the "tummy one").
